We also have an Audit department that is independent and objective. Following their recommendations, Expedia makes changes to company policies and risk management strategies.

Global Financial Reporting publishes financial statements and manages departments’ financial information. And the Treasury department makes sure that we always have cash on hand for operations and investments. Corporate Finance is all about maximizing shareholder value.     Marketing

    Expedia has an amazing system and we rely on the Marketing team to bring us users: travelers, hoteliers, airline operators, travel agents, and other partners. Our Marketing division is responsible for our largest revenue source – hotels. Marketing powers the supply for Expedia. We use our global resources to help hoteliers use our systems to fill their rooms. We’re constantly visiting hotels, building relationships, and understanding the inner workings of the industry so that we can continue to drive revenue growth for Expedia.
